DATA PRIVACY CONSENT
The Local Government Unit of Taguig City (“Taguig”) puts premium to the privacy and security of
personal data entrusted to it by its clients. Taguig strictly adheres with Republic Act No. 10173
(Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA)) and is committed to cooperate fully with the National Privacy
Commission (NPC). Taguig regards your data privacy with the utmost importance. Taguig is devoted to
deliver efficient and timely government service while ensuring the security of the data privacy.
“Personal information” refers to any information whether recorded in a material form or not, from
which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained by the
entity holding the information, or when put together with other information would directly and
certainly identify an individual. Personal information shall include “sensitive personal

Collection and Use of Personal Information and Disclosure of Personal Information
Republic Act No. 11032 or “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of
2018” requires the LGU-Taguig to measure the satisfaction of its clients that avail of its services.
As such, to comply with the said law, Taguig collects personal information from its clients. The
data collected includes the name, contact details, email address, and other relevant information
necessary for the improvement of our services. Further, the personal information collected may be
used to fulfill the services that you have requested, communicate with you, and improve our
services.
The personal information will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law, or necessary
for the protection of lawful rights and interests of natural or legal persons in court proceedings,
or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or when provided to government or public
authority.
Data Security and Retention
Taguig implements reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information
against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Taguig will retain your
personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this consent or
as required by law.
